TASKS
For this simulation,
assume you will conduct a quasi-experimental study. You will collect the data
either through interviews or direct observation.
|
YOUR RESPONSES
I think
in this simulation assume I will conduct a quasi- experimental study. I will
collect the data through interviews and direct observation. To gather great
data collection in making sure to recommend vaccinations of any infectious
diseases in helping people. In why it’s important for the vaccination
treatment in recommended for people health.
|
|
|
State your research
question which you developed in Week 4 one more time: use the same question,
modify it, and/or narrow it even more (Remember: For use in a
quasi-experimental study, your research question needs to be specific enough
so that you can turn it into a hypothesis. Feel free to modify your original
question to fit this requirement.)
|
The question that I
develop in week 4 one more time the question that I stated was, Where the
vaccinations useful for serious infection disease vaccines. Where it able to
help out the United States? Many programs the United States have for people health benefits to have a
less risk of consideration of any infectious disease want have the country
infected. With as many of vaccine recommended for people health. The consideration
of people health infectious disease not so good without having the
vaccinations offers to people in the United States.
|
|
|
Decide on the study
participants and the sampling process (Remember that this is a
quasi-experimental study, i.e., random assignment or random sampling is not
possible)
|
The study participants
were, “Statement on Risk vs. Benefit of Vaccinations” by David Satcher, M.D.,
PH.D. The health benefit the United States has proved a vaccination for
childhood immunization. Plus many more vaccinations for the United States
people to fight off infectious serious diseases.
|
|
|
State your independent
variable (i.e., what will the “treatment” be, what will one group experience
or possess that the other one will not)
|
The time orientations
of my study have is focus from the past but more focus on the present and the
future. Because the effect of what happen in the past made the United States
take in more consideration on fighting different health infectious diseases.
To help many families and children from the infectious diseases for everyone.
|
|
|
State your dependent
variable (i.e., what will you measure, what outcome do you expect)
|
The key measurement
that a features quantitative design is independent, dependent and control
variables that are defined in a measurable of terms. Which the Statement on
Risk vs. Benefit of Vaccinations is the health benefit for the United States
has provided vaccination for children immunization and any other infectious
serious diseases.
|
|
|
State a hypothesis
based on your research question (Remember: A hypothesis is an explanation of
something observed or a prediction of something we expect. Make sure you
state the hypothesis so it expresses an anticipated relationship between the
independent and the dependent variable)
|
In my
hypothesis based on my research I would use quantitative design in the
Statement on Risk vs. Benefit of Vaccinations which relates to early
childhood. The important of children have to get vaccination shots in the
United States. In the anticipated relationship between the independent is
that it is places where people can receive vaccinations treatment plus it is
required in the United States that people must have. Than here in the United
States all babies must have all required vaccination shots before entering
school. By it being dependent variable source since the United States provided
vaccination shots. The sickness that was happening in the past with small
pocks and yellow fever etc.… This has not happen ever again since the United
States been using the vaccination for children immunization and adults as
well.
|
|
|
Of the two data collection
methods you studied this week (interviews and direct observation); decide
which one you would use in this research simulation, and what are reasons for
your choice?
|
The data
collection method I studied this week that I would use is both interview and
direct observation. Because first I would want to know how the vaccination
works with the person so I can ask questions more about the vaccination in
how it makes them feel. Then I will do direct observation to see how the
vaccination made the person look or had them to feel as if the people were contiguous
to it I would want to know before releasing it to the United States. So that
I can have a lot of data collection from my methods of studies in making sure
that the vaccinations shots are still helpful.
|
|
|
From the four
assumptions of quantitative designs (i.e., objectivity, reductionism,
reliability, generality) choose one and explain how you would make sure that your study meets this
assumption
|
I would
chose reliability how I would make sure that my study meets this assumption.
Because I would prefer if the vaccinations work well if I know that its
reliability to help others. Plus make sure the vaccination meets the
assumption of querying any infectious diseases.
|
|
|
Now that you have
finished this simulation, what limitations do you perceive in the way you
have designed this study, i.e., what problems can you already anticipate
(Note: Your knowledge about study limitations is still very limited. You are
not expected to provide an exhaustive list of such limitations. However,
considering what you studied about extraneous variables, sampling issues, or
assumptions of quantitative designs, you are expected to demonstrate
awareness of limitations by describing at least one challenge to your study)
|
So far
with the research information on the simulation I feel as there is no
limitation in considering about vaccination. My knowledge about this study the
only limitation would be money and the right equipment in finding more
vaccinations in helping people. My challenge in my study is making sure the
vaccination will work and keep back infectious diseases.
